When a hurricane strikes Quohog, everything is destroyed except The Drunken Clam, which is bought out by a Brit who turns it into an English pub. As it happens, pub owner Nigel Pinchley and his family move in next door to the Griffins, and Stewie tries to teach Nigel's Cockney-accented 3-year-old daughter how to speak proper English.

Just like we English take the mic of Germans and French (e.g. Simpsons "Cheese eating surender monkeys" and most of the fourth series of Blackadder, along with the Scarlett Pimpernel episode from series 2 or 2) American comedy uses the Cockney accent, which is alot funnier than Scoue or Geordie let's face it! It's all in good taste, and if some people believe that's how all English people talk, well, never mind! At least they're laughing!

You do still in some parts of the upper classes of London hear very strong - posh like accents - maybe not to the extreme of Family Guy, American Dad etc - because these are cartoons things are exagerated - to make them funny..!!! I am pretty sure unless you are abit silly that there is anyone in the world now thinks of the British in that way!! its all in the name of comedy - chillax! :) im sure if people were actually going to get offended there are many other episodes they'd pic.. certainly not one with a funny crazy bunch of cockney cartoons!

A few facts about Britain. Britain is made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. For some reason, everyone but the English are called by their nationality. You don't call a Scottish person British for some reason, but you call an English person British. He is English. American accents vary by state, English ones vary by city. All the English people in this episode have an upper class Cockney (London) accent, from about the 19th century. People haven't talked like this for about 100 years. Getting an idea of England from what you see on Family Guy, Simpsons, any American TV show, etc. is a bad idea. Normally, I'm an understanding guy, but if people are going to think they know a country from a cartoon, then I'm not best pleased. Now, people are gonna post that they are understanding people who do know the difference between a country full of millions of people and a comedy cartoon show, and if you mean that, if you've never made a joke about the so called "British" accent, then I'm not talking to you. If you don't fulfill the above, then you're a racist.
